National Right to Life Convention Coming Back to Virginia, July 1 - 3, 2004The annual National Right to Life Convention will be back here in Virginia from July 1-3, 2004, at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington. Put it on your calendar now so you won’t miss it! Every four years this exciting convention returns, giving Virginians an outstanding opportunity to hear inspirational speakers, get the latest information on pro-life issues, see lots of interesting pro-life exhibits, and experience family fun and fellowship with fellow pro-lifers. The banquet and prayer breakfast are always very special events. There will also be special sessions for teens and college students. VSHL will again be the host of the convention along with NRLC. Volunteers will be needed at various times throughout the convention. If you’re interested in volunteering, please notify the VSHL office. (Call 804-282-VSHL, or email vshl67@verizon.net.) An Opportunity for ChaptersThe NRLC Yearbook that is available at the convention affords a great opportunity for Virginia pro-lifers to raise funds for their chapters and for VSHL. For every ad sold in Virginia, NRLC rebates 50% of the ad charge to VSHL, and VSHL rebates 50% of its portion to the chapter selling the ad. Ad charges range from $100 for an eighth page ad up to $300 for a full page ad.In addition to ads, the Yearbook lists names of patron supporters. The same rebate policy applies to patron names gathered by VSHL chapters. Patron listings will be made for donations of $500 (Platinum), $250 (Diamond), $100 (Gold), $50 (Silver), $25 (Bronze), and $10 (Rose). Advertising forms and information are available from the VSHL office. Please consider placing your own ad in the NRLC 2004 Convention Yearbook, or helping VSHL sell ads and patron listings. The submission deadline is May 3 so don’t delay!
