The Virginia State Finals for the annual VSHL Oratory Contest will be held at noon on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Grove Avenue in Richmond. Participants will be the winners of local contests held around the state. The winner of the state finals will win a cash award of $500 and a trip to Charlotte, NC to compete in the National Right to Life Oratory Finals held during the NRL Convention on June 28-30. The second place winner will receive a cash award of $200.
