Lynchburg Busy in JanuaryThe Lynchburg Chapter is being kept especially busy in January with invitations to present programs on the right to life issue. On January 16, chairman Kip Smith is speaking at the annual pro-life program held by the Knights of Columbus Council 595. On Sunday, January 20, Kip is being assisted by the youth of the church in helping to arrange and present Sanctity of Human Life services at The Kirk in Forest. Later the same day, other chapter volunteers are staffing a display for VSHL at Heritage Baptist Church as part of that church’s observance of Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. On January 17, Carole Fariss and Susan Draluck are giving a presentation to the high school and middle school students at Faith Christian Academy in Hurt, a Campbell County community south of Lynchburg. Other chapter members and pro-life friends are journeying by buses to Washington January 22 for the annual March for Life. Chapter members have been in attendance at the March for each of its 29 years.
