Abortionist Convicted

A Virginia abortionist has been sentenced to four months in jail on four felony counts of practicing medicine without a license. Rodger A. Fraser performed 22 abortions on February 9 at Capital Women’s Health Clinic in Henrico County after his license to practice medicine had been suspended. The judge sentenced him to three years in prison on each of the four counts but suspended all but one month on each charge.

The Virginia Board of Medicine suspended the abortionist’s license after he perforated a woman’s uterus and damaged her bowel on November 20 at the Commonwealth Women’s Clinic in Falls Church.
