VSHL Education on TV and at Fairs

The VSHL Education Fund is sponsoring educational ads on TV in two areas of Virginia. For two weeks in October, viewers in Southwestern Virginia will be seeing TV spots about partial-birth abortion on WDBJ-TV, the CBS affiliate in Roanoke. A ban on this horrendous procedure passed the US House of Representatives but is stalled in the Senate. The Northern Virginia Chapter is also planning educational ads on cable channels in that area.

VSHL has also been active with educational booths at fairs around the state. As usual, there was a successful exhibit at the Virginia State Fair in Richmond. Local chapters also had exhibits recently at Lynchburg College, the Suffolk Peanut Fest, the Denbigh Days in Hampton, and the County Fairs in Arlington, Isle of Wight and Rockingham Counties.
