Clinton Expects Overturn of Roe v. Wade if Bush Wins

President Clinton said on May 11 that he expects Roe v. Wade to be overturned if Gov. George W. Bush gains the presidency and nominates several pro-life justices to the Supreme Court, according to a Reuters news release.

"If Gov. Bush gets elected, he'll appoint judges more like the ones appointed by the ... Reagan and Bush administrations," President Clinton was quoted as saying in a National Public Radio interview. "And if they get two to four appointments on the Supreme Court, I think Roe v. Wade will be repealed."
