Roe and Doe Both File to Overturn Abortion Decisions

Norma McCorvey, the former “Roe” of Roe v. Wade, and Sandra Cano, the “Doe” of Doe v. Bolton, have both filed suit in federal courts to overturn the two US Supreme Court decisions that gave us abortion on demand. The “Roe” case was filed in June in the federal district court in Dallas, Texas but the case was rapidly dismissed by the federal judge. It is now on appeal. The “Doe” case was filed in August.

Both women are providing mountains of evidence of the negative effects of abortion on women, facts that were not considered in the original decision. Both say that they were misled by lawyers in the original cases and neither had an abortion. Both sincerely regret their roles in hurting millions of women by these decisions.
