VSHL Communications Director Fiona Givens was asked to substitute for National Right to Life Committee President Wanda Franz, Ph.D., at a debate at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. The debate, sponsored by the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, was held on Friday evening, September 21, 2000. Her opponent was Stephanie Mueller, Communications Director for the National Abortion Federation.
