Alert VSHL members report that Dr. Laura praised Virginia for passing informed consent legislation on her program heard on February 20 or 21 (depending on station). Quoting from the VSHL News Release, she called the comments by VSHL State Legislative Chairman Fiona Givens, exposing the hypocrisy of the “pro-choice” advocates, “brilliant.” She spent a full six minutes on the subject, quoting also from pro-abortionists and blasting their positions.

The VSHL News Release said in part: “Without full disclosure ‘choice’ is only a political slogan. Advocates of legal abortion who are truly ‘pro-choice’ will welcome this legislation,” said Fiona Givens, VSHL Legislative Chairman. “It guarantees women access to the facts, information and options that are essential components of genuine ‘choice’,” continued Givens.
